((This is a continuation of t3's thread with Hannah in Sanitarium Square, and I thought it'd be best to have a post of Eleonora waiting for her Repo Woman. ;D))
Again, she turned back to the huge screen that monitored almost every movement of every creature in the city. One particular section sparked her interest; Alanna Kraft, Gravemakker, and an unidentified man were in a graveyard together. There was also a corpse, but it seemed that Gravemakker had made mincemeat out of him (her? She couldn't even tell anymore). Standing up, she walked right in front of the screen and peered up at the scene. This must've happened while she was sleeping; usually she watched the city like a hawk, but like every human, she did need some sleep.
"I'll need to commission some device to remedy that," she muttered, a nasty frown creeping across her face. Looking back up, she saw Gravemakker load the organs of her repossession into her trunks. Alanna was in funeral garb, and looked rather perturbed by the whole situation. Eleonora did not like Alanna one bit; she hated competition, and she was not exactly sure why Alanna disliked Gene Co. so much. She had heard rumors about her eye, but a quick fix with untainted Zydrate would've brought her right back to normal. After that horrible surgery, Alanna had disappeared, and then, without warning, reappeared as a rival to Gene Co. The camera followed the VisN Inc. CEO's movement for a moment, and Eleonora's jaw dropped when she saw the names on the tombstones.
"Why MY family?!" she asked, her hands balling up into fists. Shaking her head, she then saw that the camera had panned back to Gravemakker and the unidentified man. He was young, frightened, and had a holster full of glowing Z. A Graverobber, how splendid. According to the video, Gravemakker was doing absolutely nothing about his existence. She should have reported him; she should have dragged him right to Eleonora's office and allowed her to take out all her rage upon him. It was because of the unscrupulous Graverobbers that Gene Co. nearly went out of business (and the whole city was nearly wiped out), and she could not understand why Gravemakker would allow him to live.
"Does she not realize I can see her? What...what was she thinking?" Eleonora began to shake in anger. Quivering, she turned around and pressed a button on her armchair; the screen flickered off, and once again the expansive city loomed out the window behind her. She lifted her arm and stared at her communication watch. One way or another, she had to deal with Gravemakker's transgression. She also had to figure out exactly what Alanna's business was, but that was for another day, at least for now. As she continued to stare at the watch, she could feel her rage mounting, but she logically knew that would result in nothing.
"I'll just sit and wait for her...when she comes in, I'll bring it up. Once you're in the Tower," she turned around and looked out the window, a dark but strangely joyful expression on her face, "it's almost impossible to get out."
